The transformation of Přemyslovců Street in Ostrava's Mariánské Hory district includes a new public space with blue-green infrastructure that retains rainwater where it falls. The works also include a new avenue of honey locusts (Gleditsia). A total of 60 new trees have been planted, which, together with perennial beds, create a more pleasant environment and improve the street's microclimate.

Rain gardens capture stormwater, allowing it to infiltrate gradually and be used by the planting. The open crowns of the honey locusts provide light, pleasant shade during summer and help reduce overheating in the street. Together, the trees, perennials, and ornamental grasses form a functional blue-green infrastructure system. The City of Ostrava commissioned the project.
