As part of a comprehensive reconstruction, Masaryk Avenue in Teplice underwent a major revitalization of the public realm. The project also incorporated blue-green infrastructure, enabling effective stormwater management and creating optimal conditions for long-term tree growth. A new avenue of Skyline honey locust (Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline') with a trunk circumference of 18–20 cm was planted along the street. This cultivar was selected for its airy crown, high tolerance to urban conditions, and strong resistance to drought, heat, and salinity.

The trees are planted in continuous planting strips supplemented with perennial plantings. To provide sufficient rooting volume, structural soil was used to support healthy root development even under demanding urban conditions. The revitalization of Masaryk Avenue is an example of a modern approach to urban street renewal, where quality plantings and blue-green infrastructure are an integral part of a functional, long-term sustainable public space.
