This family garden beside a new-build home in Prague was designed as a generous outdoor room, naturally linking the home's living space with the garden. The design is structured around distinct zones, each with its own function and together forming a cohesive whole. The garden's focal point is a multi-stemmed Zelkova serrata with an umbrella-shaped crown, planted at 500–600 cm tall.

Its striking crown provides natural shade and creates a pleasant space to relax. Other trees include Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline', with a trunk circumference of 25–30 cm, and Acer rubrum 'Brandywine', planted at 450-500 cm tall. The trees create spatial structure, enhance privacy, and link the individual areas of the garden. Perennials, ornamental grasses, shrubs, natural stone, and a water feature complete the planting. An open lawn contrasts with the richer border planting and gives the individual trees room to stand out. The result is a clear, natural-looking garden with varied uses directly around the home. The garden was designed and installed by landscape contractor Atelier Vejtán.
