Developing the business park required compensation: part of the existing greenery had to make way for the buildings. The environmental plan therefore requires a green zone around the entire business park. For the client, this was also about greening an otherwise extensively built-up area, climate adaptation, and creating a more pleasant working environment for the people who work there.

In recent years, Van den Berk Nurseries supplied trees for planting along the park's roads and bike paths, with a selection determined together with the client. Tilia tomentosa 'Doornik' and Tilia flavescens 'Glenleven' form the core of the avenue trees, supplemented by Quercus robur, Ulmus minor 'Vada' ® and Fraxinus pennsylvanica 'Summit'. Also distributed throughout are Acer freemanii 'Autumn Blaze', Acer platanoides, Carpinus betulus, Quercus palustris, Tilia europaea 'Pallida', Ulmus 'Morton Glossy', and multi-stemmed Pinus sylvestris on the roundabouts. This selection alone comprises more than 500 trees, all supplied with wire-basketed root balls.

The trees are planted in broad green strips along the roads, between the commercial buildings and the bike and pedestrian paths. In a business park with buildings dozens of meters high, they restore a more human scale at street level, an effect that becomes stronger as the canopies continue to grow.
