Prunus 'Trailblazer' (syn: P. cerasifera 'Hollywood', P.c. 'Trailblazer) is a small tree with a rounded crown. Height approx. 5 - 7 m. The leaves emerge dark green but very quickly turn dark brownish-green. They maintain the latter colour throughout the season. The relatively small, creamy-white flowers are contained in pale pink flower buds. They open in the first half of April and are approx. 2 cm in diameter. Large, dark red, tasty fruits follow in late summer. Winter hardiness zone: 5a
