Malus 'Pom Zai' Malus 'Pom Zai'

A slow-growing ornamental apple that is often bred on tall stems. This creates a small tree that is fine as a solitary in small gardens. Depending on the graft height, the tree grows 3 to 4 m tall. The crown is flattened spherical. The plant flowers abundantly with light red flowers that glow almost white. In autumn, talc-rich small yellow vructhen appear with an orangish blush that linger for a long time. The tree grows best in nutrient-rich soil that is not too dry. It is a very healthy hybrid cultivar published by Sapho in France around 1990. Hardiness zone: 5a

Origin
Winterhardheidszone: 5a
