American selection that grows to a height of approx. 7 - 9 m. The crown starts off round and is later flattened spherical. Dark green, broad ovoid leaves with an irregularly serrated edge emerge from the practically thornless twigs. The underside of the leaves is covered with felt-like hair. The whitish-pink flowers appear in umbels in May and June. These are followed by round dark red fruits. Winter hardiness zone: 5a
