It has a round to egg-shaped crown and is a slow grower. The tree has beautiful, deeply cut, green leaves and rarely bears flowers and fruits. 'Palmatifidum' is used as a park tree and a solitary. It demands little of the soil, but does not tolerate peaty or wet soils. The tree is good wind resistant. Winter hardiness zone: 4
