Acer campestre 'Anny´s Globe' is a bulbous growing cultivar, usually grafted on a tall stem. The tree grows slowly and will develop a densely branched, compact, almost spherical crown. Eventually, 'Anny's Globe' reaches a height of 3 - 5 m. Depending on the graft height, the final height may vary slightly. Has the same characteristics as the species (see A. campestre), but 'Anny's Globe' is smaller in all parts and hardly suffers from mildew or spider mites. In autumn, the leaves turn golden yellow before falling off. Because of its small crown size, this cultivar is extremely suitable for use in tree boxes, roof gardens, (small) gardens, parks and small-scale green projects. The fact that this tree tolerates dry soil and semi-paved areas and can stand in full sun increases its application possibilities. 'Anny's Globe' was selected as a seedling of 'Eco Sentry' by André van Nijnatten from Zundert in 1993. Hardiness zone: 5
