The redevelopment of Place Charles de Gaulle in Quimperlé, Brittany, was completed in 2013. The project was led by the landscape architecture firm Eland.

A key feature of the design was the planting of linden trees (Tilia) in block form with clear stems. These trees were strategically positioned to create shaded areas and to give the square a green, structured appearance.

Parking bays were integrated beneath the linden trees, contributing to a harmonious balance between traffic management and green infrastructure.

The redevelopment received the ECOFAUR label for sustainable urban development, underscoring its focus on environmentally friendly and future-oriented city planning.
