This private garden was newly laid out in 2006. It already had a mature aura in the first year because all trees and rhododendrons were planted in substantial sizes. Consequently, the Quercus robur ‘Fastigiata’ hedge immediately provided the desired privacy. The rare golden yellow Quercus rubra ‘Aurea’ creates a light, sunny effect and shelters the children’s playhouses. But the real eye-catcher in the garden is the Cornus controversa. It has been given all the necessary space to stand out as solitary.
