The owners of this villa were so happy to have purchased a plot of land on a dammed up tributary. To impart an immediate sense of maturity on the newly laid garden, they decided to plant larger sized trees. Together with Boudewijn Hoveniers, who were in charge of the garden landscaping, the customer selected the trees at the nursery in 2007-2008. The choice fell on a red beech next to the entrance, Cypress Oaks along the front of the house, lime trees at the rear, knotted willows near the water and heavy parasol sycamores. Around the sycamores, a huge table was built to accommodate 40 guests! The photos here show the garden one to three years after planting.
