For the project 'Van Mierlo Tuinen – Experience your Nature' we supplied a selection of large, mature trees that define the character of this unique landscape project. Noël van Mierlo transformed a former meadow landscape into a natural garden of approximately one hectare, where our trees form the connection between the design and the surrounding nature reserve.

The selected species – including Zelkova carpinifolia 'Verschaffeltii' at the entrance, Taxodium distichum var. distichum around the biolake, Pinus, Juglans, and additionally Nyssa sylvatica, Fagus sylvatica 'Atropunicea' and Carpinus betulus – were specifically chosen based on growth location, seasonal experience, and their role in ecological cohesion.

By working with mature, characterful specimens, the landscape immediately gains the tranquility and naturalness of a mature forest. The trees determine the spatial character, add height to the flat Brabant landscape, and ensure a smooth transition between the organic shapes of the garden design and the protected nature around it.

A project where craftsmanship, ecology, and landscape architecture come together from day one.
