'Sinfonia' is a small tree to a height of 5 - 6 m. Often forms several heart branches and initially has a broad columnar crown that later becomes narrowly oval. Due to good branching, the tree forms a dense crown. The needles are always in bundles of 2 and are 6 - 12 cm long. Like the species, the needles are stiff, straight to slightly curved and dull dark green. 'Sinfonia' combines the versatility of Pinus nigra with a good narrow crown shape. It grows in all types of soil, provided it is well-drained, but even grows well in dry (lime) soil. Very suitable for use as a solitary tree or in small groups in parks, tree boxes, squares and gardens. Was found by Miklòs Jòzsa in Hungary. Hardiness zone: 5b
