Acer ×freemanii CELEBRATION ('Celzam') Acer ×freemanii CELEBRATION ('Celzam')

Aceraceae

Acer ×freemanii CELEBRATION ('Celzam') Acer ×freemanii CELEBRATION ('Celzam')

Upright habit to a height of circa 15 m with a conspicuously well-shaped, compact pyramidal crown. In its early years the tree grows clearly faster. The leaf resembles that of A. saccharinum, one of the parents of this hybrid, and has a solid and somewhat leathery structure. In summer the leaf is bright green, in autumn it turns into yellow and red hues. Because of its fine crown shape and the possibility to use 'Celzam' in hard surfaces, it is a very good street tree. An additional advantage is that 'Celzam' does not produce seeds.
