At the end of the last century, a number of multi-trunk planes were supplied for the Market Square in Eindhoven as frame for the statue of Frits Philips, the founder of the company that still plays such an important role for this city. It was one of the first projects with large multi-trunk trees in a public area. The reference pictures date from 2010 and are an example of a highly successful project. The trees are doing well and fulfil their function as originally planned in the development phase.
