Heemstede Castle was completely renovated in 2002 and now, amongst others, houses a prestigious restaurant. To give the outdoor space of the castle a matching character and style, the decision was made to plant large-size oaks and lime trees. On both sides of the drive, Quercus robur was planted. Around the caste, a double row of Tilia europaea ‘Pallida’ size 35-40 was planted.
