No fewer than 1200 Tilia platyphyllos in size 18-20 were supplied and planted as part of the Cascadepark, a new district of Almere Poort. Casdadepark West stretches out over a distance of one-and-a-half kilometres, covering an area of around 25 hectares. The elongated park is recognisable by the ‘Green Streamer’, a hundred-metre-wide strip of land with trees, playing and picnic fields and wide paths for walkers, cyclists, skaters and joggers, all surrounded by water. There is space for art and small events. Spread throughout the park, there is space for distinctive residential and other buildings.

The large-leaved lime trees were planted in 2010 and Van den Berk guaranteed their aftercare and regrowth for a period of two years after planting. The work was carried out by Van Ginkel Veenendaal.
